The Ultimate Way to Master Your Energy

Is your energy helping or hurting your ability to manifest the things you want in life?

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to go to Fran Drescher’s Cancer Schmancer Holistic Health Summit. I was incredibly impressed by the speakers and their commitment to changing a “sick care” system into a “health care” system. (if you are interested check out the organization here.)

While I was intensely listening to every presentation, there was one that kept me on the edge of my seat. The speaker was an incredible acupuncturist and naturopath who talked about the significance of our energetic and emotional levels and the power they have on every aspect of our lives. 

She also introduced a chart by Dr. David R Hawkins, a psychiatrist, spiritual teacher, and author known for his work on consciousness and human awareness. He created a “Map of Consciousness” which is a scale of human emotions and their corresponding frequencies. The scale ranges from 20-1000 with each level representing a different level of consciousness and emotional state.

It is important to note this isn’t an actual measure of electronic waves but rather a scale to demonstrate the energetic context of one state in comparison to another.

As human beings we experience a myriad of emotions that reflect a rich and full life. Hence, there isn’t a “good” or “bad” emotion. Feeling the spectrum of emotions is important.

However, we tend to calibrate back to a predominant emotional state and our overall health and wellbeing are usually a direct correlation of that state of being.

The good news is we can climb up this emotional scale, improve our energy levels, raise our consciousness and create a new paradigm for our lives.

Here is the scale for reference:

“Okay” you might be thinking “why does this matter to me?” Well, for one, your health. There is a strong link between higher vibration emotions and a stronger immune system, greater resiliency, longevity, faster recovery times, less pain and lower anxiety and depression.

Research also indicates that people on the higher vibrational scale typically are more successful and have better relationships. This makes sense. Logically, when we feel optimistic and joyful, we are much more likely to be resourceful, take the necessary actions and believe we can achieve our goals.

Likewise, from a manifestation perspective, everything is energy. Our thoughts and beliefs impact our emotions and ultimately our energetic frequency. When we emit  higher level emotions, we are not only more likely to manifest great things but they will come to us at a much faster rate.

Of course, the opposite is true as well. If we get stuck in the emotional vortex of shame or guilt, it’s significantly harder to attract great things. Our thoughts, beliefs and energy simply don’t support it.

So bottom line, if you want to live a healthier and happier life, mastering your emotions is key!

Hopefully by now you are wondering HOW do I do that? MINDSET and MOVEMENT (hmmm….if you combine them it sounds a lot like Moticise right? …more on that later)  

First, it’s important to understand that our mindset, which includes our thoughts, and our beliefs have a direct impact on how we feel. If we think we are great, we feel great, if we think we are a loser, we definitely feel more like a loser. Right? Right. I know I’ve had those thoughts too.

And this is not just reflected in how we feel. Thoughts actually change the length of the telomeres in our brain. Research shows that higher frequency thoughts create longer and thicker telomeres which greatly improve the immune system and longevity. They also can change much faster than originally believed. In as little as 6-9 months of conscious mental training, you can change the length and quality of your telomeres. Quite literally, change your thoughts, change your life.

Movement also has a huge impact on our brain. Extensive research now demonstrates that movement stimulates growth of new brain cells and the release of BDNF which is connected to mood. People suffering from depression and anxiety usually have notably lower BDNF levels.

Additionally, movement significantly improves focus, creativity, motivation and YES the frequency and quality of your energy.

Where do I go from here? First, notice where you currently are. Most of us probably haven’t reached saint like status yet. However, if you are hovering in shame, guilt or anger you can definitely move up the ladder.

As with many things, going from zero to 100 or in this case 20- 1000 might be too big of a leap. Instead use the list above as a guide and aim to uplevel a few emotional states at a time.

For instance, if you are stuck in fear and anxiety, perhaps lean into pride. Take a walk and reflect on everything you have ever done that you are proud of. What have you achieved that perhaps you once thought was impossible….even the smallest things count. By the end of the walk, notice how you feel? If you really do this, my bet is you will feel better. And then keep moving from there.

If you want a few other ideas to dial up that energy and shift into a higher emotional state try some of these ideas.

  1. Dance Party: Crank up your favorite music and let your body move. This is a guaranteed endorphin and energy boost. Moticise this and make part of your dance a celebration for 1 thing you did today that made you feel proud or happy.
  2. Affirmations: Talk to yourself like you are giving a motivational speech or like you are top lawyer arguing in defense of your greatness. And if you want to kick this up a notch, Moticise this and add some boxing bunches.
  3. Imagination: Close your eyes and let your mind go wild. Channel your inner superhero and imagine that you are starring in your ultimate success story. Once again if you want to raise those vibrations even more you can add someMoticise and do this exercise on a stationary bike. You will get your heart pumping while emitting some hi vibe frequencies.
  4. Nature Adventure- Take a walk, go for a hike or bike in the park. Moving will increase your energy and your motivation and nature has the same frequency as love. To Moticise this while you move list all the things you love about yourself, and you can’t stop until you come up with at least 20 things!!
  5. Random Acts of Kindness: One of the best ways to help yourself is to help someone else. Even a small gesture like sending a positive text or sharing a friendly hello and smile can make a difference in someone’s day. To add a Moticise flair, go for a walk and give at least 5 people genuine compliments Those compassionate and high conscious deeds will definitely help you climb the scale and improve your own emotional well-being.

So there you have it- some fun and effective ways to jump start your energy, change your emotions and manifest health, wealth, love and happiness. And remember when you combine Movement and Mindset, you are unstoppable!
